"This is probably the neatest class I have run across to enroll my son into. Not only is it teaching him an introduction to the game of chess but doing so in such a fun and engaging way. I've never seen a class structure of this type, and it is incredible to witness and then see my son at home moving chess pieces the right way while singing the songs he has learned in class. I am definitely a fan of musical chess and so is our child! 10 out of 10! Don't hesitate to enroll!"

The Story Behind Musical Chess

Ms. Adrienne, creator of Musical Chess

Musical Chess grew out of a small, unexpected moment. While driving one day, creator, Adrienne Tellier started humming a tune about a chess move, and the rest of the ideas followed as if they had been waiting for her. With a background in musical theatre and years of teaching children across many subjects, including tutoring chess, she began shaping a playful way for young learners to grow through music, movement, and imagination. Adrienne believes children are naturally eager to learn, and when we nurture that spark early, it becomes something they carry into the rest of their lives, giving them the confidence to try new things and the courage to pursue whatever they want.
